Fishing in Lake Poygan remains good for walleye with some with bass and northern pike mixed in. IN the New London area catfish remain very active as do the smallmouth bass and northern pike. Bluegill are starting to bite in the local lakes and on Wolf River backwaters. There have also been some perch around as a bonus. A jig and leech will work for walleye and any typical bass tactic should produce smallies if you know what you are looking for. There is lots of wood and riprap in the system to hold fish.
