Sorry for the delay in reporting but I had my main computer go down. Fishing has been good for most species with anglers all over the system catching some nice size crappies in the flooded brush piles. Those drifting and jigging are finding some walleye on minnows and crawlers along with some dandy smallmouth bass. Walleye have been on the transition ares and not stacked up in deep water yet. That will change as it gets colder. Anglers targeting the smallies are also doing quite well. Tohelp protectthis great fishery, please release any but a trophy fish. Fishing should pick up as the water cools from it’s present temperature of around 62 degrees. Water levels are good, lets hope we continue to get some rain here and there to keep the fish coming up the river. Some white bass have been biting also near the mouth at Lake Poygan.
