Cool Off Starts Fall Fishing Action

White bass are biting along the rock wall in Fremont and there have been some nice catches of crappie already.  Walleye anglers are finding a few in the lower river but the main action is in the New London area.  Areas around tributaries and transitions to deep water have been the key.  Smallmouth bass and northern pike are also being caught.  Expect more reports as angling pressure picks up.

NOTICE, THE MEETING FOR THE WOLF RIVER WALLEYE CLUB HAS BEEN CHANGED TO WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 15 AT THE REQUEST OF THE HAHN A LULA.  FREE HOT BEEF SANDWICHES AND PLENTY OF WALLEYE INFORMATION WILL BE SERVED.
