Walleye are still being reported being caught WAY up river, above Shiocton. That’s good news as they continue to filter back and provide good fishing for those finding them. White bass are biting in New London but the bulk of the action is going on in Fremont and Winneconne. Crappie are staring to bite in the channels and back water areas too.
We are at RECORD low water levels for this time of year. Check out the USGS graphs available on the Outdoors section of Wolf River Country.Com. Never in the last 96 years has the water level been so low. We need rain.
