Fishing has been a mixed bag with walleye, white bass, catfish, crappie, bluegill and perch available all over the system. Walleye are moving back down stream slowly and are being caught by most anglers targeting them. Jigging with leech, crawler or minnow will catch fish. Others are casting small baits and flies to catch fish. The trolling bite on Lake Poygan is improving also.
The white bass fishing has been pretty good with good numbers of big fish being caught down stream of New London. Fremont has been good too. I talked to Larry from Larry & Jan’s Resort and he had 42 BIG white bass yesterday.
