Well the above average warm spell has gotten all the snow and ice out of the woods and in to the river. Surface water temps are above 40 but should drop a bit. WE NEED WATER! Anglers have been catching a few fish throughout the system but most reports have been of less then a limit of nice fish 17 – 19 inches. The Fox River has been better as a fair amount of walleye went there. DNR crews are planning on working the shocking boats in the upper Fox this week already. Could be an interesting spring, but at least it’s here.
