Warm Weather Should Spark Fishing

Well even though I don’t do much ice fishing, an invitation from a friend had me sitting over a hole working the short stick in hopes of icing a walleye on Sunday.  The weather on the horizon has me making plans for quite a few return engagements.  It was a short walk from the parking area to the spot and it’s an area that I know produces walleye.  My friend Rick told me he has been missing more then he has been catching, but based on what he has showed me he has caught, I know the fish I’ve been waiting for are on the move.  Local lakes are producing bluegills and northern pike and Lake Poygan continues to produce walleye, perch, bluegill and white bass.
