Summer Fishing

With decent water levels for this time of year, fishing has been pretty good for the most part.  One pointof notice is that fishing pressure is very light.  That has created some good fishing for smallmouth and walleye if you are willing to spend some time looking for them. Drifting long areas of rip-rap shorelines or pitching to wood can be effective as can fishing with Lindy No-Snagg Timbr Rock jigs in the deep wood on outside bends.  There are plenty of trees laying in the water and many have fish hiding in them.  Crappie have also started to show up off some of the docks and backwaters.
More soon, keep in touch with my web site for more updates and info.
