WOW, water levels have jumped but not anywhere near flood stage. Fishing has been tough for all species in the river due to the “chocolate soup”. Some of the back waters have produced a few pike, bass and bluegill and Lake Poygan has had some good days but a bit of stable weather is needed to really get them going again. Shallow water cover and baits with a high flash and vibration should produce fish for those who are looking for some action. With world class fishing for a variety of species this close, make plans to visit us here this summer.
