Walleye have slowed greatly in the New London area but there are still some fish being caught. Crappie have been the best target the last few days with lots of nice size fish being caught. Many have left the trees and are using the main river and eddie currents to stack up and look for food. Water temp in the lower 40’s means walleye fishing should still get better. The falling water levels have moved the schools of fish, so keep working until you find a pocket of fish.
