Ice Conditions Improving & Some Panfish Being Caught
Panfish and Northern Pike have been the news in the area. Local backwaters are producing catches of Crappie and Bluegill along with some decent pike fishing. Some anglers are getting out on the river but conditions are not good enough to get to the best spots right now. Keep in touch, working with John Faucher will help me get more and better ice fishing information this year.

River Is Open, Walleye Biting
There’s going to be an opportunity for those who have not put their boat away to catch some walleye on the Wolf River.
I’ll be out there this weekend and post some pictures.

Brave The Cold For Some Good Walleye Fishing
Lots of smaller fish mixed in with nice size keepers being caught in the lower end of the system. In the New London area fishing is good but anglers are having to work a bit harder for bites but are being rewarded with some really nice fish. It’s all up to Mother Nature now, gonna freeze up pretty soon.
