Early Summer Fishing Patterns

There have been some catches of walleye in the lower river and out on Lake Poygan.  White bass, catfish and drum (sheephead) will also provide a tug on the line.  Same goes for the river in New London.  There are a few walleye around and the catfish are starting to bite.  There is also some pretty good smallmouth bass fishing to be had and even a good population of largemouth bass.  The northern pike should also stat to bite as soon as the water warms up a bit.
