Water Levels On The Rise, Some Walleye Biting.
OK, here’s what I have from my sources. The Winneconne bridge has seen some nice size females caught at night but very few males at this time. The day bite has been tough. In Fremont, the area below Hahn-A-Lula has produced some fish as has the are just above Lake Poygan. There have also been some good days of fishing “between the bridges” and up stream towards Gills. With the fish on the move a spot can be good one day and quiet the next, even with stable weather. In New London the day bite has been hit or miss for most. Night fishing has been pretty good for those out with the rise in water levels and warm up. Keep in touch with the water level and temperature information linked on my Outdoors page in Wolf River Country.Com for current readings.
